Weekly Meal Prep

Collaborations

Since I transitioned into running my own business full-time, my two days are never alike. I’m usually running around, hunting furniture, meeting with clients and putting together posts. Since days can get pretty hectic around here, I need to have food, and buy food, I mean healthy and tasty meals, available to grab on the go or warm up and enjoy at home. I always make a point of taking a few hours to meal prep on Sundays. It’s become somewhat of a ritual and the time that I’ve carved out for this, has become something I look forward to.

I’ve partnered up with HP to show you how the 4 modes of the hp x360 have completely changed my weekly meal prep, and everything else for that matter. From looking for inspiration on Pinterest to following a recipe while cooking, the 4 modes are incredibly convenient!

I usually spend half an hour or so browsing through all of my recipe pins that I’ve pinned the week before. I have my tried and true recipes that I like to stick to and I make sure to add a few new recipes every week to mix things up. The tablet feature makes multitasking that much easier. I can browse through inspiration and write all my ingredients for my grocery list.

Grocery shopping is a feat in itself! I go to a few different grocery stores, like one that has all my favorite international foods and another for my organic needs. When that’s all said and done, I’m ready to start cooking! I try to prep as much as possible for the week. That usually means slicing veggies and fruit, having a delicious soup on hand, like this one, and making overnight chia pudding to grab for breakfast runs. I don’t generally freeze anything so everything is fresh and consumed the week it’s purchased. It’s a bit more work, but I’ve found that as long as I’m organized and stay on track with prep, it makes the week a breeze!

I always make sure to have fresh fruit on hand for healthy snacking! And who can say no to winter citrus….with the stems on? HP is going on tour with Meghan Trainor on her ‘That Bass Tour’ and lately, I’ve been jamming out to her songs while I’m cooking!

Usually, I take advantage of meal prep Sundays to shoot some recipe posts for the blog. That way I have something tasty to share with you every week! I’ll whip up a post while it’s still fresh in my mind and schedule it to be posted later in the week.

The HP x360 has completely changed the way I work and prepare for my busy weeks ahead. I absolutely love that I don’t have to take both a tablet and a laptop with me when meeting with clients or when I travel. Not to mention, my fridge is stocked with ready to go meals and I’m not stressing on what to prepare after a long day at work!
