Spring Refresh in my Skincare Routine

Beauty

I’ve started to take a more minimal approach in my beauty routine, including consolidating the products I use on a regular basis. While I am always open to trying new products, I’ve noticed a true difference in my skin by sticking to my tried-and-true brands.

You’ve heard the hype about Augustinus Bader and it’s true. The products is meant to replace just about all of the other products you have in your routine. Yes, even eye cream. I purchased the Rich cream for the cold, Winter months to ensure my skin stayed hydrated but am going to switch over to the regular cream as we approach Summer. You can feel an immediate difference in skin texture, hydration and elasticity.

I use my Biologique Recherche products in conjunction, especially the cult-favorite, Lotion P50W toner and certain serums. I also apply the Visolastine + face mask once a week for a surge of hydration to my skin. While I was in Paris, I had the pleasure of having a facial at the BR headquarters where a skin analysis was done and products were tailored to my skin’s individual needs. I have an entire post dedicated to this experience that I will share with you soon.

Dr. Barbara Sturm’s hyaluronic serum is great for hydration and filling out fine lines. I happen to have her whole line and try to rotate it into my daily routine. The Enzyme Cleanser is great for daily use, too! and I can’t neglect to mention Nuxe dry body oil which I apply daily. It is the best dry oil because it never leaves any oily residue, and smells divine. As you can tell, the French know their skincare – you can read my favorite French pharmacy beauty products, here.
