Because I am so over winter- I’m tired of talking about winter, of feeling cold everyday and because I miss the sun and warmth. So, today’s post is coming from a beautiful, sunny home on the island of Menorca, Spain. And apparently, they aren’t too concerned with the forecast!
Architect, Quico Moll and interior designer, Rocío Olivares came together to create a serene and relaxing space. Full of natural elements, white-washed walls and views of the Mediterranean. Ironically, they named this home, the bunker. I almost take offense to this, considering I feel like I’ve bunkered down for the past 3 months in the Chicago winter. But then again, I shouldn’t take things so personally…
This home is so on point with it’s Mediterranean vibes. It hurts, it’s so good. The neutral palette sprinkled with pops of colorful textiles; the stone walls that add texture along with natural wood elements and hides spruced along the floor; oh and the ample-sized windows overlooking olive trees and the blues of the Mediterranean. And a fireplace, for those chilly nights… {insert eye roll} Thinking warm thoughts and sending them all your way! Xx

Hi Becky! To my understanding, this home is a private residence. However; I’m sure that there are other options for home rentals in Menorca. I’d be happy to assist with helping you find one!
