I don’t generally do posts on my outfits, but today I was extremely pleased for stepping out of my comfort zone. Tonight we have our annual cocktail hour for work at Zed 51, and I thought I would try something fresh and new for the evening. On an impromptu shopping spree yesterday, I spotted these pants on sale at Zara and just couldn’t pass them up. After all, I match our vintage bed sheets!

Don’t be afraid to try out a new trend. If you’re like me and prefer neutrals, then make one piece of your outfit pop and tone down with the rest. I paired these wild pants with a simple black cardigan and other black accessories. The neon necklace was lent to me by a good friend and made for the perfect statement jewelry.
Even though Petar can’t seem to get over these pants, I consider this a success in my fashion history!
