Destination Reveal

Happy Friday!

If you haven’t checked out my Facebook page yet, I have revealed our next two destinations this year! Petar and I will be heading over to Europe for a 10-day vacation this Thanksgiving. With limited number of vacation days in the corporate world, we got lucky and only are taking three days for a total of a 10-day trip! Get creative with days and use holidays in your favor- you can pull off a much longer trip than you expect!

With that being said, I have yet to meet Petar’s 90 year-old grandma and older brother. So off we go to Belgrade, Serbia. I haven’t been back in 16 years and am so excited to see where Petar grew up and visit my family as well. The best part is, it is a complete surprise- no one has any idea we are planning a visit!  We decided to include a quick 3-day rendezvous to Budapest, Hungary, only a 4-hour drive from Belgrade, to explore a new city and the medicinal thermal baths they are known for.

I love having something to look forward to and plan- this is the perfect winter trip!

Where are you dying to go this fall/winter season?

It’s nice to meet you Serge- thank you for reading. I am really looking forward to visiting. It has been too long and I’m sure I will hardly recognize the city. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
