Having a coat collection is a right of passage when living in the Windy City, and while I would happily pass on the long and endless winter that’s around the corner, I do love a good coat. In fact, I’ve built up quite the coat collection. Since my wardrobe tends to lean on the simpler side, I tend to pay more focus to outerwear and accessories for making that extra statement. I happened to stumble across this handmade, wool coat from Tahari at my favorite TJ. Maxx and didn’t think twice. I’ve been looking for the perfect shade of blue – traditionally a vintage-esque color but with clean and modern lines. The combo is killer, imo.
