Today, I thought we would chat a bit about lucite curtain rods. Not the most exciting and thrilling part of interiors but definitely a detail that should not be overlooked. Now add lucite to that sentence and everyone’s eyes grow wide…It’s ok, I understand. It’s an obsession. Please explain that to my husband…
What was I saying? Ah, yes. Lucite –> curtain rods –> curtains! We purchased this fabric a while back and are having a friend custom make them to fit our dimensions. While I am itching to see the finished product, it will probably be another week or so before they are ready for hanging!
Now, the curtain rods that came with the condo are nothing to write home about…and sometimes that’s ok. Sometimes a simple curtain rod is all you need so it doesn’t take away from your statement curtains.
I have been eyeing these brass rods with lucite finials from Restoration Hardware for quite some time…and they are having a 20% sale still going on!
Then I stumbled across Lux Hold Ups on Etsy and well, so glad that I did! They have some great and simple lucite and brass curtain rods for a decent price that I’m thinking of putting up in the guest bedroom.
Let’s take a look at a few more options, shall we?
I absolutely love these unconventional square lucite and brass rods from Gretchen Everett Hardware and Home
House of Wentworth Blog did a great job on their nursery by using acrylic curtain rods from Plexi-Craft– definitely a great cheaper alternative. I like that the rods disappear into the design and aren’t a distraction to the eyes. It significantly softens up a room and appears that the curtains are simply floating in mid-air.
How about these gorgeous Asian-inspired finials? LOVE!

Hi Samantha! I bought this on a flash sale on One Kings Lane. The actual fabric is from Thomas Dare and is called Latora. It is linen and I purchased the tan color. I’ve seen it sold on Stark Fabric but in a blue. Hope this helps! Thanks for stopping by Xx
