Hittin’ The Road

Two days and counting…. I am so excited for our trip this Sunday. There is no bigger thrill than a bustling airport, filled with people coming and going from all corners of the world. The story of the airport is a bittersweet one: sad goodbyes and warm, heartfelt- hellos are exchanged. Every passenger has their own destination. It is the one place I feel I can stand still and the world just keeps on turning- give it a try.

We’ve managed to pack everything and even have room to spare for the goodies we plan on bringing back. Petar arranged for a car to pick us up from the apartment and take us to the airport:a perfect way to start our honeymoon! Not to mention, one less thing to worry about. I’m glad we have the weekend to spend some time with family and friends before we leave – it also helps build up excitement and finalize any last minute details.

We will be gone until the 4^th of July, but don’t worry- I will be sharing photos and snippets from the trip. So stay tuned.
