‘Glamping’ Essentials

Travel

out in the open 800

Good Morning loves! We are finally back from our weekend at Kinnikinnick Farm. We had such a great time and as much as I missed being here with you all, it was really nice to disconnect for a few days (and much-needed). I’ll have pictures and a recap of our “glamping experience” up this week, so stay tuned!

Today, I thought it would be fun to share my “glamping” essentials; everything to make your weekend as outdoors-y and glamorous as possible. Can’t get away? This would be just as good for an impromtpu bonfire in the backyard. Just sayin’.

glamping essentials

1. This twig marshmellow toaster from Terrain looks like a perfectly found branch without all the bugs and dirt! Perfectly toasted s’mores, not included.

2. Always make sure to stay hydrated- this BPA-free glass water bottle is perfect for long walks and I love how you can infuse your water with fresh-picked wild berries.

3. I recently picked up this plaid shirt from the J.Crew Factory sale. I’m really loving navy and hunter green for the fall. This shirt is leightweight enough for the day but will keep you warm through the cool evening!

4. This travel cashmere blanket by Armand Diradourian is perfection. The leather strap adds a rustic touch to this otherwise glamorous piece and the stripes keep it looking fresh. I would never go on another trip without it!

5. Madewell has some great bags and I especially love this worn cognac-colored leather backpack. Enough space to pack all of your essentials and still look put together. Save a little room for antiques and freshly-picked produce!

6. Board Games! I don’t think I’ve had more fun than playing boardgames by candlelight surrounded by nature. Uno and Taboo are a few of my favorites and the fun will last for hours!

7. I like to let the moonlight guide my way during the night, but these brass lanters are quite helpful as well. I prefer unscented candles so I don’t attract any unwanted visitors (bugs)!

8. Stay warm and toast marshmellows with a campfire. I prefer birch wood because it burns cleaner and smells absolutely delightful. This birch bundle from Terrain is perfect to get that fire started!

9. I did not take off my wellies the entire trip, seriously. I am especially loving this collaboration with Jimmy Choo and Hunter and their faux-crocodile rubber boots.

Have any of you gone camping or “glamping”? What are some of your must-haves for venturing out into the wilderness?

Xx

I agree- we ended up using a French press and it was great to have the java kick!
