Good Morning! This week’s outfit post was so much fun. I couldn’t help myself but to plan my outfit around this amazing sign. Cafe Tola is in Lakeview and is super tiny but packs a mighty punch with colors and delicious empanadas. Definitely worth a visit. Jennifer and I indulged in some refreshing lemonade and hung out with our new friends, Frida and the Ted Selleck look-alike pilot (you know I’m right).

The polka dot dress I purchased last year from Fox’s and haven’t been able to find any other items from the brand again. For some reason, I do think that Cheque is a UK brand. If you know anything about it, please do let me know. I’m assuming their other pieces should be just as fabulous!

Back to the outfit…This dress can be worn for fall and winter. It’s conservative with an edge and it’s quite versatile. (This is Petar’s favorite dress of the ones I own!) I decided to turn up the volume a bit and sport polka dot on polka dot with my new J.Crew sweater (which I love btw). I threw on a pair of over-the-knee flat boots and belted the outfit to give it a nicer silhouette. Even though there’s a lot going on in the outfit, it is still monochromatic. I decided to bring in some color with my grandmother’s clutch. Seriously, one of my favorites- it has that old-world embroidered feel and it makes me feel closer to her every time I wear it. The colors are subdued enough that it created just enough of a contrast without taking over the show. A pink lip and some dainty jewelry was all I needed to bring this outfit full circle.
