You can pick your jaw up off the floor now… This home was once a church and was converted into a private residence. With original stained glass windows of biblical figures, this space is enormous and so unique. My first thought is how much it would cost to install herringbone wood floors in a space this large? Nevertheless, despite the open floor plan, the home has created individual areas of living, dining and even music playing. The furniture is modern and yet respectful of the building’s history and architectural features. I’m especially loving that turquoise over-dyed rug and the cathedral ceilings. In this case, quite literally. Can you imagine entertaining here? We’re the Cathedral at the corner of the street- you can’t miss us. The over-sized pendant lighting, the brass bar stools and the herringbone fireplace are all stunning features. Would you live in a home that was once a converted church?
