Vintage Art

Miscellaneous

Yesterday I made a quick stop in newly opened furniture consignment store in Lincoln Park and ended up leaving with new art for the apartment.

I don’t know why but I kinda love this print. I’m sure it’s totally ’80s, especially with that horrible pink frame…BUT the Roman Ruins layered in different colors is just plain fun and brings back good memories of my days as a student in the eternal city. Re-framed and I think it will be a great piece for our long hallway.

This vintage botanical print I picked up for $5 and I figured even if I don’t use it, it would be a great little gift. Maybe someone with an October birthday? Nevertheless, it was too good to pass up!

And finally I walked away with these two DAX acrylic frames. They are both 16 x 20 and would look great with some blown up images of clouds or the ocean. The sky and water would look endless in a frame without borders. They are still in their plastic wrappers, so scratch free!

Maybe I will pick something up from our upcoming travels to fill our frames with! For $40.00, I’m quite happy with my finds!

Wishing you a great rest of the day! Psst…don’t forget! Tomorrow is the second week of Wanderlust Wednesdays at Emerald Green Interiors. For those of you following along, you know where we’ll be headed. For those of you just joining us, be prepared for a festive and vibrant culture and decor!
