Travel Here | The newest boutique hotel in Byron Bay is any interior design aficionado’s dream. Every iteration of blue and white that you can imagine. Indigo blues, mud cloth and dyed textiles, worn wood furniture, brass details and pops of yellow and pink throughout. It was voted the best new hotel in 2016 by Conde Nast and rightfully so. The hotel is stunning! You can dine at Paper Daisy, their in house restaurant, that serves coastal cooking in a relaxed and laid-back setting. Imagine waking up in the morning to a fresh fruit plate and setting up for a day of sun bathing and relaxing on those striped lounge chairs. Taking dips in the pool to cool off in between cat napping and reading your new, favorite book. Perhaps, even retreat to an early sleep in one of the colorful yet serene bedrooms. Halcyon Hotel in Bryon Bay is exactly how I would imagine a chic vacation down under would look.
Wear This | As if I needed another reason to add more blue and white to my home and my wardrobe, this hotel reinforces that you can never have enough of the color combo. I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a Marysia swimsuit and it’s adorable scallop edges! But, I’m especially obsessed with this embroidered dress. The detail on it is absolutely stunning and the fringe just completes it. Pair it with a pair of flat, leather Greek sandals for lazy, summer days and wandering by the beach side. A straw tote to carry all of your sun-kissed essentials, like this mosaic beach towel (I just love that it’s round!) and shimmering body oil that smells like, yup, the beach. And how fun are these hexagon sun glasses? The also come in black but I happen to like the unexpected golden hue.
