With longer days and more sunshine, Spring has me craving delicious smoothies for breakfast. I’ve been making this sunrise smoothie on repeat the past couple of days and it’s so incredibly satisfying and refreshing. A combination of spinach, banana, almond butter, almond milk, spices, honey and mango chunks make this smoothie healthy and filling. I add pomegranate seeds for a bit of color, antioxidants and crunch! I sometimes even like to mix half almond milk and half oj for an even brighter flavor! Honey adds the perfect sweet touch and chia and hemp seeds add extra protein and nutrients. Sometimes, I add a sprinkle of cinnamon for an extra boost. This smoothie is packed with goodness but still silky smooth and delicious. And how fun is the color combo? I have a feeling you are going to love this recipe!
