Hey guys! Did you all have an amazing weekend? Kind of hard not too, considering it was 60 degrees in Chicago! I was so excited that I put on a pop of color and sandals and spent all day Saturday out and about. Now, technically this outfit makes me a bit of an Indian giver…you see, I went on a bit of a cashmere shopping spree this past weekend at my favorite consignment store, Leahey and Ladue. They just so happen to be having a 50% off entire store sale- hence, the cashmere overload. Let’s just say, I ended up stocking up on quite a few pieces. This one just so happens to be an early mother’s day gift for my mom. I was so bummed that it was 2 sizes too big for me to keep, otherwise I would have (sorry, mom), but it was too beautiful of a color for me to pass up. And so, it became the perfect gift for my mama. Oh but that color! I had to take it out on the town. Just once. Don’t judge. I’ll get it dry cleaned!
Since the sweater is too big, I cinched it with a belt and paired it with my favorite boyfriend jeans. The color is difficult to photograph, but it’s the absolute perfect shade of orchid. It’s not too pink, slightly purple and pulls a bit on the fuchsia side. Perfection. My black strappy sandals I picked up on sale at Zara this past season and I absolutely love how the black grounds the colorful and playful outfit. My collection of bracelets are a mix of ones I’ve made and others I’ve picked up in Greece. All in shades of pink! I’ve been wearing my favorite, minimalist purse on repeat lately because it’s the perfect bone color and goes with just about everything. And of course, my fur pom you can find on Shop Nomad Luxuries. We have so many good colors to pick from! Who here is looking forward to more Spring-like days?
