Good Morning darlings! Did everyone have a wonderful weekend? I can’t believe how fast it went by. Mine was jam-packed and seriously productive. Can’t wait to share with you some of things I’ve been working on!
Since we’re pushing things back a day, I thought we’d chat my latest obsession: zebra ottomans.
Ever since this lovely picture made it onto my Pinterest boards, I’ve been wanting to recreate the same ottoman concept for our living room.
I have been hunting all over Craigslist and Goodwill stores for an inexpensive large ottoman that I can easily swap out the legs for and upholster with my zebra-print cowhide. My goal is to keep this project under $100. Let’s take a look at some more inspiration…
Love that teal blue sofa and pop of orange with the zebra ottoman. So good!
This room is cheerful and a mix of so many styles- loving that Ju Ju hat!
Oh those bookshelves- wouldn’t you love to perch your feet up on that zebra bench while escaping into a good book?
Simple and beachy in this bright “surfers” home.
The cane furniture, the black and white scheme and textured suzani pillows are simply perfect!
I would never leave this spot…never.
Rich and bold burgundy with industrial elements and a big round zebra ottoman!
Black lacquer walls create a dramatic space and that chandy is a conversation starter. Really loving all the symmetry in the room
Greeted by a bright and crisp entryway- feminine and edgy
A Hollywood Regency style bedroom and a neutral palette
Neutral and tribal- love the play of patterns with the ottoman and the rug.
The ottoman makes for a statement piece in this otherwise neutral space- and those starburst mirrors!
Do you have any zebra elements in your home? I feel like zebra is having a bit of a moment.
Hi Yana,
Did you complete your ottoman project? I would LoVe to do the same… I’m a few steps behind you though as I need to find the cowhide zebra print first… lol

Hi Kim- I actually ended up purchasing the x benches instead of an ottoman and they wouldn’t have worked with the cowhide. I’m still considering incorporating the zebra somehow into the living room… I’m sure you could find an inexpensive cowhide on Craigslist or Ebay that you can work with. Would love to see how it turns out!!
