It was impossible to miss on Instagram, but nevertheless I thought I should officially announce it here. We brought home the newest addition to our family this past weekend. He’s fluffy and tiny and so incredibly calm. And we’re quickly becoming friends! Meet Palmer! He’s exactly the type of puppy I’ve wanted- he’s timid, loves to cuddle and is incredibly smart. Four days in and he’s quickly learning to potty train. When he’s not sleeping, he’s playing with his reflection and has become inseparable with his stuffed squirrel.
I’ve always wanted a puppy but had so many hesitations – I never thought it was the right time to take on the responsibility but I always yearned for that unconditional love and companionship. Petar and I agreed that our life had finally aligned to welcome an addition. And before you go jumping and thinking of babies. That will be a logical next step. One day. In the mean time, we have Palmer and we’re head over heels for him. He comes along for car rides, he fits perfectly in all my purses and I find myself staring at photos of him when I’m not home. My allergies on the other hand are completely on the fritz – hopefully they too, will adjust to Palmer and let me enjoy in this snuggly and fury creature!
While he by far might be my best accessory, this has to be one of my favorite outfits to date. I bought this skirt for the amazing periwinkle color and love how understated and sexy it is with that high slit. A simple black tank and silver jewelry, croc sandals and my new sunglasses from Boohoo bring it all together. The whole outfit is simple, sleek and modern. And that blue! It might just be the perfect outfit and the perfect puppy!
