This stunning home in Central L.A. was built in the 1920’s and has beautiful bones. With the help of a designer from Homepolish, this space got a makeover fit for a family of 5. The formal dining room has to be my favorite room! The rose gold chairs in a Milo Baughman-esque style are what dreams are made of and the black velvet is not only plush, but pairs perfectly with the unexpected butterfly wallpapered ceiling. This home has so many great design details; from shearling stools to cane chairs in the kitchen dinette and long and dangling tassel lamps in the family room. And that blue, velvet sectional! But I especially love the bright, red door and the bench with lucite feet. The home isn’t too serious, which is great for a growing family but it’s still comfortable and sophisticated. What’s your favorite aspect of the home?
