Don’t we all wish we had a Summer home in the South of France? That is, in fact, a rhetorical question. After seeing this gorgeous home, it’s hard not to have some serious real estate envy. Sitting on the Mediterranean, this home has French architecture but Scandinavian roots in its design, thanks to its owners.  Who doesn’t love a gorgeous entry? That door is everything. With its height, arched shape and original door knocker and brass hardware, it’s like it’s letting you in on a little secret. This place, it’s going to be good. And good it is. The colors throughout the home, as you would expect in Scandinavian design, are muted. But then those bright, purple, dining chairs add a fabulous and unexpected flair to the space. Perfectly balanced with the farmhouse table, woven baskets and black and white checkered floor. The sitting room pairs a leather egg chair with linen sofas, vintage kilim textiles and canary yellow zing of color. The outdoor space, is usually the space I envy most. With it’s cypress trees, pristine, blue pool and stone walkway…it’s a private solitude.
