I’m jumping back into things this morning and starting off the week with this space by Nick Olsen. It’s all sorts of good! The palette: black, ivory and chocolate brown is peppered with pops of persimmon and deep greens. Two colors of which never seem to pop up in my own home, but I absolutely adore in this space. The rose gold hardware, the global textiles and my favorite detail? The kitchen wall that was wallpapered with torn pages from books on Italian artist, Giovanni Battista Piranesi. His etchings of Roman ruins added character to the eating area and definitely act as a conversation starter. I’m definitely on the hunt for vintage books now, this is a brilliant idea! Vintage French, baroque furniture upholstered in bold, mud cloths; Fornasetti-inspired furniture and unexpected wallpapers. I’m loving the whole look! What do you all think?
