I stumbled across this beautiful home in Architectural Digest France and found it, in all of its gilded glory, quite fitting for the city of light. Designed by the Lebanese designer, Chahan Minassian, who is known to design opulent homes with a flare for distinction and Parisian style. Each and every piece appears to be its own piece of art. The space is not large, but rather so carefully curated that it looks incredibly lavish. Not to mention, the balance of brutalist pieces, with shiny brass and soft fabrics with modern metals works perfectly here. And as most Parisian flats, this lovely space has herringbone, wood floors. The envy! Pops of turquoise add the only color to this muted space and just so happen to be the trademark color of the designer. The bedroom is an ivory oasis complete with Moroccan wedding pillows, over-sized, cloud photography and subtle metal details. And I absolutely love that barnacle lamp that sits pretty next to the gorgeous gold art and the layered fur pillows. In this case, more is definitely more.
