I absolutely love the fact that this apartment only has two bedrooms and still packs a punch of style. Not to mention, it would be a fabulous to recreate on a budget. For example, the rug and living room pillows look like something we could pick up at Ikea. The interior designer, Maria de la Osa, says that she believes every home should have the personality of the owner that lives there. The nordic dining nook and the bookcases are so inviting and the cane seating instantly warms up the space. The bookcase also happens to be a secret entrance to the guest bedroom. The designer wanted the space to all it’s own and when having guests in from out of town, not interrupt the normalcy of every day life. I especially like the paint color on the walls. A warm gray that instantly gives life to the space. Stacked vintage trunks, lamps in contrasting black and white a an unexpected pink pop of art above the fireplace. It’s all in the details. Did you happen to notice the double fringe on the curtains? My favorite little detail! I love this entire space and cozy and lived in it feels but also how everything seems to have it’s perfect place.
