I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about the island of Rhodes- situated near the coast of Turkey, with pristine beaches, fresh seafood and cobblestone streets, this island has been added high on my list the next time I visit Greece. Especially with the opening of the brand, new Casa Cook Hotel which opened just a month ago. A boutique hotel aimed at creating a space that “inspires like-minded travelers. Those who like to eat local and travel authentic”. That would be me. Sign me up! Besides the premise of the hotel and what it stands for, I absolutely adore the design. Blending seamlessly into the landscape; the natural and slightly rustic look is sophisticated and calming. Slate grey, warm wood finishes and natural fibers like rattan, linen and rope bring a raw element to the otherwise polished space. I’d like to sip a fresh orange juice while I hang out in the egg chair or perhaps grab a fresh, Greek salad and the catch of the day under the tile mosaic. And don’t even get me started on those beaches!
