When it comes to homes on the Mediterranean, I’m not biased: give me blue, white and a view of the ocean and I’m one happy girl. This adorable home in Alicante, Spain seems to check all the boxes. I especially love the fireplace, an unexpected touch in a home situated near the ocean. But can you imagine, cooler nights spent near the wood-burning fire while the waves crash below? It also adds a cozy touch to an otherwise, white and cool space.
The straw hats on the wall are a fun touch and immediately add a beachy vibe. Frankly, anything woven gives off a boho vibe to a space. More rustic and natural. I love that this home looks small and inviting- I imagine packing a car and heading up here for a weekend. Where the watermelon is cold and refreshing, the stars are unnaturally brighter and where you might just simply forget to charge your mobile. My dream of getting up and moving to a remote and beach-side village are only further enforced by these stunning spaces.

So lovely! I really like the look of white, clean walls in this type of home. The pops of color and straw hats are fun too!

Me too, Britney! I think the architecture is the perfect contrast to the simple white walls and bringing in some pops of color, adds a nice touch!
