I genuinely think about going for a monochromatic interior. It seems so calming and soothing without being stark or sterile. After seeing this home, it only reinforced my obsession with white floors and a minimal color-palette. This home has a ton of Ikea furniture, but the over-sized black and white art, along with the natural wood tones and added textures, make it look far more tailored and high-end. The living room furniture is fairly close to the ground and the extra floor cushions immediately make the space feel casual and lived-in. Whoever lives here has excellent taste- Byredo shopping bags, marble honed backsplash and moroccan-esque rugs. All the natural light doesn’t seem to hurt either. Not to mention, that olive tree. I need an olive tree in my home. Are olive trees the new figgie leaf? I sure hope so. I might just start that trend!
