The first thing that caught my eye about this space was that a-mazing kitchen! The large windows looking out to the foliage- you know immediately this is not in Chicago. This home resides in Los Angeles and after shedding a tear over that gorgeous pool, I’m thinking of reasons why I shouldn’t move to la la land. I digress. Back to that kitchen. A slate blue kitchen island with bright and crisp white subway tile and cabinets make for a beautiful contrast. And the bar stools upholstered in a zebra fabric are the perfect touch. Very minimal and modern, all of the pots and pans are in order, along with cooking oils and touches of copper. It’s stunning. And the windows? My god! They are everywhere and it’s green and sunny and my move seems imminent at this point. I love how the living room is modern and minimal, yet feels a bit slouchy, disheveled and perfectly lived in. They even have an hermes for those cold(?) nights…. *eye roll Worn leather, vintage rugs and kilim pillows and the zebra pattern makes it into another room with oversized cushions. I love the laid back vibe it gives off and can you imagine the al fresco dining happening at this place? *Sigh
