I’ve never had a knack for plants; I’m utterly surprised that our fiddle leaf fig tree is still around. These photos, though, they make me want to run out and pick up some plants for our home. I mean, there is a tree in the living room. A tree. But doesn’t it just create the most serene of spaces? There is a whole different vibe about this room just because of all the nature. The home is simple and Scandinavian in design, not fussy with its cool tones and minimal furniture. I absolutely love the grey-washed herringbone floors and the copper pendants in the hallway add an unexpected touch of warmth to the space. And do you see the stack of vintage cutting boards? I’ll do an entire post on that obsession of mine. I want. need. them in my life {and kitchen}. The gallery wall spans the entire main wall and adds some dimension to the room. Not to mention the buffet with beautiful glass window panes. Obviously this home gets a ton of natural light so it’s perfect for a sea of gorgeous greens! What are your thoughts on plants in the house? Worth the extra chore of watering or skip it entirely? I’m a fan. Big fan! Who else is with me?
