Holiday Craft Party

{Joy to entertaining!}

I came up with the idea to host an intimate Holidaty Craft Party this year after the Halloween Fete turned out to be a great success. I also found a great DIY tutorial on making your own stockings and our mantel was in desperate need of Holiday cheer! I wanted to put my crafting skills (or the lack thereof) to the test and spend some time with close friends while celebrating the Holiday Season.

Finger food, a hot chocolate bar and Christmas music made it a perfect night.  Check out the photos and our fun evening…

{Twinkling lights and a delicious spread}

{Finger food- spanakopita}

{Adding the finishing touches for the party}

{It’s all in the details}

{Catching up before the fun begins}

{ Crafting supplies ready to go: vintage lace, burlap, buttons and ribbon}

{Cutting out the burlap and preparing to sew}

{How many ladies does it take to get the sewing machine to work? Btw, epic fail. We ended up sewing by hand}

{Finishing the night off on a sweet note: Hot Chocolate Bar}

 {Dessert tray and individual Sangria from Serbia. So delicious!}

{Making a pot of hot cocoa}

{Party favor ornaments and peppermint cocoa stirs}

{Hot Chocolate}

{A perfect night!}

When life gets hectic and time continues to speed up, it’s important to take time to enjoy the details with the people that are important in your life. Don’t forget to slow down and enjoy the Holiday Season!

A big thank you to Rumala Sheikhani for her capturing the moment with her fabulous photos. Also a thank you to the ladies who were patient with me, the sewing machine and taking on a craft project in general. It was a blast!
