I always notice that when I’m on the hunt to find something specific; ie a dress for a wedding or new skinnies, I can never find exactly what I’m looking for. On the other hand, when I simply go to browse (which I do more often than not), I end up with a handful of items I technically don’t need…. But then again, who said fashion is always a matter of need. Am I right? And so, I dropped a pretty penny on a pair of pants I had nowhere to wear….
And yet, these pants are one of my favorite purchases to date. I’ll go grocery shopping in these puppies! Grab dinner…heck even make dinner in them. You get the point. This was my very first couture purchase and what made me feel confident in my own style. It was fate that I stumbled across these Armani, gold silk harem pants. Fate, I tell ya!
Shall we talk shoes for a moment? These too, were a bit impulsive. But come on, Manolo Blahnik kitten heels with embellishments. Jewelry for my feet! You see, I tend to find my best fashion pieces when I’m not looking for anything in specific. You should try it sometime! I paired the pants with a jersey v-neck from Cynthia Rowley in a neutral color to balance the gold and glitz on the bottom half. Threw on some vintage gold jewelry and painted those toes red!
