After seeing a recent spread in Elle Decor, I did a bit more research and discovered amazing work by artists who actually created clouds. created. One artist used a fog machine to create a fog-like presence over buildings. Another, balances humidity and temperature to make clouds appear. Something that seems so untouchable has become a new art concept. There is something so beautiful about these fluffy white cotton balls in the sky. We imagine faces and animals when we see them; they are always moving and ever-changing. A present part of our daily life yet so detached and elusive.
Artist Berndnaut Smilde created clouds by balancing temperature and humidity to create actual clouds. The best part? These clouds are created in beautiful and architectural locations. Think, Versailles-style spaces. It’s brilliant and simply stunning to look at.
Leandro Erlich, another artist, layers sheets of painted glass to create the idea of a captured cloud on display.
What do you think? Do you like the idea of recreating and capturing these untouchable beauties?
WOW What a concept..loved it
