Weekends are for farmers’ markets, bell-bottoms and fresh flowers. Well, aren’t they? Saturday mornings are my favorite- I tend to wake up early to head over to the market and get locally grown produce and some fresh flowers. I usually pick up a breakfast crepe too, because they happen to be delicious! The 70’s are having a major fashion moment right now, and I thought it would be appropriate to bust out my bell-bottoms. Circa 2007 from Zara! Not so retro, but definitely right on trend!
I paired my bell-bottoms with my favorite pair of wedges. A match-made in heaven! I absolutely love the color of the leather and quite frankly, Gucci can do no wrong in my book.I just picked up this fun top- full of tassels! I went on a bit of a shopping spree at Fox’s and ended up going home with a practically new wardrobe for Summer. Every piece just happened to be white…you’ve been warned. But who can resist white for summer? I put on a delicate pair of gold hoops, put up a messy bun and wore sun-kissed, bronze makeup.
I picked up some fresh fava beans at the market and made an absolutely delicious soup. This was my first time cooking with fava beans- those little guys are a lot of work- but it was so worth it! Promise to share the recipe soon! Anyone else frequent the Green City Market? Seriously, love this time of year.
What is everyone up to this Holiday weekend? Any fun travel plans? We’ll be staying local this time around but plan on taking full advantage of the weather. Fingers crossed for warmth and sunshine! Be safe and have an amazing weekend! Xx
