Dining Room Inspiration

dinner part 800

Good Morning! Yesterday I mentioned that Miles Redd’s outdoor patio started a chain reaction for me wanting to infuse our apartment with some color. Since our apartment is pretty much a blank slate still, I wanted to focus on finishing the living room and dining room in time for the holidays. Remember those? They aren’t as far away as you think!

With that being said, the dining room seemed like the perfect space to add some col-ah! Our dining room has big windows but faces towards another building, so it doesn’t get as much direct sunlight as I would have liked. I wanted to keep that in mind when choosing a color. Light enough to still feel bright and airy, but saturated enough to make a statement.

I looked back through my pins and found this fabulous bedroom. And look at that wall color! My, oh my! So good! The only issue with this color is that it tends to pull a bit more traditional. I’m going to have to play around with other colors and furniture ideas to make sure the style reflects us.

Here’s some more inspiration that use this “aqua” blue paired with some unexpected colors.

I’m heading over to Home Depot tonight to pick up a few samples and see which one looks best in our space. What do you all think of this color? I’m going to put up some swatches later this week and would love it if you can chime in and vote for your top color choice so I can get this project started!

Thanks as always for stopping by and reading my insane interior babble. Love you all!
