I While I wouldn’t say no to a good label, It’s never been important to me who makes it, but rather how it looks, the quality and craftsmanship that’s involved, and above all, how it makes me feel. I especially love to find pieces that maybe aren’t as mainstream but more focused on a niche market. That’s why, when I came across the label Zeus and Dione, I had to share it with you all. Not only am I obsessed that this is a Greek label gaining well-deserved recognition, but the pieces are beyond words! They are minimal yet possess intricate, hand-made details. The silhouettes are strong, and ancient in their inspiration yet modern enough to fill any closet. They embody the laid-back essence of the Mediterranean that I am always striving to perfect. I would live in their entire collection. It’s perfection.

For those of you that have visited Greece, there is a sense of history and tradition weaved into the culture. It may be subtle, but it’s always there. The same winds that blew thousands of years ago, a calmness and quiet that the ancient cities possess. It’s almost sacred in its own right. Each textile from the Zeus and Dione collection is weaved, dyed and embroidered by artisans in Greece. From knitting to dying silk and adorning pieces with intricate motifs, tradition and craftsmanship that has been passed down by generations have found its way back on to these stunning pieces. Each, a work of art, in my opinion.

Elements that are prevalent in ancient, Greek architecture like geometry, minimalism and precision greatly influence the collections. Along with the symbolism and mythology of the ancient culture. Named after the parents of the Greek Goddess of love, beauty and eternal youth, this brand has taken my breath away. I hope you enjoyed the collection as much as I do!
