A few weeks back, I flew out to New York for a quick day trip and to shoot Fall looks with Lydia Hudgens. It was the perfect excuse to hop on a plane, get a quick taste of jetset and enjoy the energy of NYC. It was a beautiful Fall day in the city and for a quick ten hours, I ate and shopped my way through Saturday. Since I would just be traveling for the day, a suitcase wasn’t necessary. I wanted to pick an outfit that was easy to walk the streets of west village to exploring soho and indulging in an acai bowl at Two Hands. Your healthy cravings won’t be disappointed.
This polka dot dress, from Oasap, was a bit of an impulse purchase but I loved it so much that I knew I wanted to have it part of my Fall wardrobe rotation. At under $25, it was honestly a no-brainer. I paired it with a pair of over-the-knee boots I picked up from Zara and a cross-body, croc-embossed purse. Perfect for carrying a coffee and shopping the consignment stores of New York. Which let me just say, are so much fun. I left with a handful of cashmere pieces that cost less than their dry-cleaning!
An all-black dressed, cinched with a skinny belt and accessorized turned out to be the perfect outfit for a quick day-trip!
