What better way to welcome the month of amour than lounging around in bed, surrounded by a dozen pillows, a duvet that I get lost in and a book I can’t seem to put down. Sure, perhaps the bed is empty and vast these days, but I’ve found my way back into reading. A pastime I tend to forget how much I thoroughly enjoy, until I wrap up another book, eager to lose myself in yet another story. In current rotation? Sweetbitter. A book that manages to make me perpetually hungry. This top, hardly meant for a morning in bed but too perfect not to wear for the occasion, was purchased from a recent Mango sale. Their sales, much like Zara’s, are always worth exploring. So much, in fact, that I’ve ordered a few more pieces to add to my rotation.

Sleep is one thing I am not getting much of as of late, I’ve found that I can read, work, even eat from my bed. But sleep? A rare luxury these days, indeed… I’m too hungry, excited for all the possibilities and ideas floating around in this head of mine. So far as to say, obsessed with work as of late. Time quickly escapes and I find myself boycotting sleep in hopes for an extra hour or two. I do miss it though….sleep. For now, a pink, silk top perhaps too pretty for shut eye.
