I recently discovered the designs of Courtney Bishop and I honestly cannot get enough. Obviously, you can see why. This design happens to be for a beach house and while sometimes you get stuck on the typical notion of “beach house style”, this is so much more than I could have imagined. The colors are still beach-y with it’s pastel blues and pinks, gilded details, wood elements and creamy ivories. The space overall, is very minimal in design. I absolutely adore the abstract, colorful paintings that tie in the color palette. Not to mention, I’m still swooning over that salmon, velvet tufted headboard! Many of the pieces mimic the curvature of the home. Round tables, curved kitchen island, etc. The lighting is a statement of its own. From the grand chandelier to the kitchen island pendants, the gilded details and the clear glass don’t obstruct the airy space but add just enough for jeweled details. The best part? The view!!
