Bathroom Tiles

Interiors

Petar is in an official state of panic- every time he comes home, I have found something else to do to our condo or a new purchase.  He’s definitely the more financially conservative one in this relationship. Nevertheless, I sold him on the idea of retiling our bathroom. There’s nothing currently wrong with our bathroom, except that it’s literally 50 Shades of Gray in there. The floor is a slate gray; the shower tiles are a heather gray and our old shower curtain just so happens to be….GRAY!  Since we only have one bathroom and it’s not the biggest, the gray just makes it sad and drab and I can’t deal.

A few years back I remodeled my childhood home out in the burbs and used this gorgeous tile…

I got them for a steal on Overstock and they just happen to be back in stock after two years. Coincidence? I think not. I really love how bright they are, yet they still are textured and have a medallion-like global feel to them.

Here are a few shots of how they turned out at the Hampton home

{No tiles here, but I just had to show this fabulous geometric mirror I picked up at Home Goods. I thought it was the perfect addition to the bathroom!}

I’m really thinking I might go this route again for our new bathroom. We have about 89 sq feet to cover which isn’t much, but overall I think it will have a great effect on the space.

I’ll keep you posted on what I decide! 🙂

    I love those tiles and you did an Awesome job at the other home..it looks fantastic..gray is a little drab but it could be your new neutral so maybe just change the curtain and towels for a pop of color. FYI .. I do love the blue colored tiles on this picture. 😉
