Good morning! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! The weather was a-mazing in Chicago and I spent as much time outdoors as I possibly could. I forgot what warmth felt like! I spent the weekend in the burbs, which wasn’t as terrible as I imagined. It was actually quite calm and relaxing- a nice change of pace from the city. I spent time with my dad and aunt and even managed to make it out to my home town, Libertyville, to visit one of my long-time childhood friends. And on Sunday, I spent the day with Jennifer shooting photos in the city. I couldn’t stay away too long! We had so much fun, guys! We hung out around Millennium Park and at the gardens of the Art Institute. So beautiful. And then, a couple came with their cd payer, turned on Argentinian tango and danced tango in the gardens. It was like a surreal dream! So magical. I wish we had a bottle of rose so we could watch the performance. I sometimes forget how amazing this city of ours is, but this summer I plan on enjoying everything Chicago has to offer! Music in the Park, museum exhibits, Lolla. So many things to do!

I love this outfit because it’s so easy, breezy and perfect for Summer. I could wear it with flats for running errands or pair it with heels, like I did today, and catch an al fresco dinner. The skirt is from Ann Taylor and I surprisingly bought it at my favorite consignment shop, Leahey and Ladue. Guys, if you haven’t been, you have to go! I seriously want to throw an event there and have all of you come and see this place. It’s so good (and affordable)! Maybe, I’ll do just that! Leave a comment below if any of you would be interested in coming by a styling event at this shop! I think it would be a blast!

I paired the floral, silk skirt with a sleeveless, knit from Zara in navy to bring out the darker undertones of the skirt and threw on a pair of two-tone, neutral sandals from Charles David. They are on major sale right now on Amazon, too! I really love how flowy the skirt is and yet, it still has pockets. A major plus in my book. I actually remembered that I had bought this vintage Louis Speedy bag years ago. I bought it for under $200 and love that small bags are becoming popular again. I can barely fit anything in it, but it makes me be more selective in the junk I choose to lug around with me all day!  And the Vince Camuto shades are the newest addition to my ever-growing sun glass collection! The bigger the sunglasses, the better!
