I am so relieved it’s Wednesday! It’s been an insanely busy week and I’m ready for another weekend. Aren’t I always? To help me get through the next few days, this girl bought herself fresh blooms, a new candle and scheduled a facial at the Four Seasons. Whatever it takes. Am I right? This Saturday I’ll be speaking at Blog Your Best 2016 hosted by WCBC and am so excited to meet other local bloggers. Anyone else going? I hear they still have tickets left!
So let’s talk about this outfit shall we? Conveniently located near my house is my favorite consignment shop, Leahey and Ladue. They always have such a great selection and their prices are worth making the trip alone. I tend to pop in after a delicious brunch next door at Deleece. I’ve never walked out of Leahey and Ladue empty handed. Ever. So, you won’t be surprised when I tell you that this Joie cashmere sweater and Banana Republic suede mini-skirt were thrifted. Grey and camel seem to be a favorite color combo of mine lately and these two were the perfect match. Like they were just patiently waiting to be worn together. I love the combination of textures, too!
Now you guys know my situation with cashmere. I won’t stop until my closet is filled with this warm and cozy goodness. Overflowing, even! I love how the cashmere sweater perfectly drapes at the collar and I cinched it to create a bit of a waist, even though it looks just as good loose and comfy with boyfriend jeans. I finally caved and bought a pair of over-the-knee boots and am really digging them. Not to mention, they make me feel better about sporting a teeny, tiny miniskirt. And that hat. It literally makes me lol because I am such a hat girl, guys but I always feel so silly when I wear them. It doesn’t stop me from wearing them, though! And how adorable is that fur pom? It’s perfect, but then again, I’m biased considering yours truly had them designed. But, seriously. Fox fur, gold details and only $28! Your welcome!
