There is something incredibly soothing about this home and sure it probably has to do with the monochromatic tones, minimal furniture and interesting textures. Linens and velvets happily coexist in the same room with marble and metals. And despite all the juxtaposition, there is a perfect amount of interest and empty space in the home. Lately, I’ve been really eyeing pedestals as decorative pieces. Preferably with an intricately carved object to display. What truly steals the show? That marble-veined bathtub that couldn’t be contained all in one photo. “Running a bath” would take on a whole new meaning for me! I wish those doors would show where they lead to outdoors…I can only imagine a perfectly manicured patio overlooking the water…

What do you think of this home? Do you love the vastness of it all or do you prefer more “things”?
