Weekend and Pins of the Week

The weekend is here and with Fall-like temperatures in Chicago. I can’t say that I mind it; it gives me a reason to slow down a bit. You know, cuddle up on my couch in pj’s, a cup of tea and a stack of magazines. How’s everyone weekend looking? Any fun and exciting plans? This week has been non-stop for me: work, events and blogging. I’m pooped and I miss the hubs. So, I’m looking forward to a low-key couple of days. I plan on making my way to some estate sales and working on finishing up some smaller projects that are screaming for my attention.

Here are my favorite pins of the week to take you through the weekend!

  • This gluten-free carrot cake sounds and look absolutely delicious. Must. Make.
  • It’s sweatshirt weather out there and this rhinestone-crusted sweatshirt is perfect for weekends.
  • I absolutely love this floating shelf and quite frankly, the entire space.
  • A fun, rustic and playful table setting, perfect for a Sunday night dinner at home. Love the olive branch…
  • Love these built-in shelves for the dining room to display your favorite china. This could be a simple DIY project to tackle.
  • Speaking of DIY’s, how fun is this nailhead door? A fun (and easy) way to spruce up any old door in your home.

Hope you all have a wonderful (and cozy) weekend!

Big Kiss
