As much as I like to put emphasis on what I wear, I also want Petar to be well-dressed beside me. There’s nothing better than a well-dressed couple! While mens’ options are much less “exciting” than those of the woman’s wardrobe, there are ways to incorporate fun elements. When Paul Fredrick reached out to me about their Summer collection, that launches today, I jumped at the opportunity to pick some of my faves. Wedding season is upon us, after all.
Similar to my own style, I gravitate to classic-style button downs, generally in stripes or windowpanes (checkered). These choices give a bit more room to accessorize with ties and cufflinks. Floral ties in moody blues add sophisticated whimsy to an outfit, while polka dots and small, repetitive designs add an understated touch of class. Cufflinks are often times my favorite element. They are last to be noticed but can really make a statement and pull together the entire look. I would love to hear what all you gentlemen think.
