Oh, hey Monday! Did you guys have a great weekend? I finally managed to see my Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 and it was perfectly cute and light-hearted!  I felt obligated, you know, as a Greek-American to see it and I really would love to know where the windex concept came from. Overall, the weekend was super low-key and it was so what I needed. Sushi takeout, movies, blogging, brunch with friends and finalizing the details for my trip to Greece. I can’t even tell you how much I am looking forward to that trip! Let the countdown begin….

If you remember last week, I shared how to style a pair of white skinnies and why you need them. This week, I’m still sticking to white but with a pair of flares from Banana Republic. Yes, I rhyme when I talk about fashion! I’ve always loved flared jeans, they make your legs go on for days, not to mention, visually shed a a few pounds and they make you look taller. And…what women wouldn’t want that? They look super cool, too! It’s actually hard to find the right pair of white jeans. You don’t want them too thick that you feel constricted when moving, but too thin is never good either. No one wants to know the color of your underwear. Well…I’m sure there’s someone. But you get my point.

I wanted to dress this look up a bit so I decided to pair it with a recent purchase, this asymmetric blazer. I love the silhouette and how flattering it is! I feel like a total girl boss in it! I also added one of my favorite vintage necklaces for a bold statement. I skimped on the tank and decided to sex it up a bit- a blazer with nothing underneath is super sexy and confident. I kinda love it! A fresh white mani, a pink pout and round sunnies finish off this look. The lines are strong and you can never go wrong with a monochromatic look. This is perfect for work meetings and even drinks and dinner. I had no plans on picking up two pairs of white jeans but they are so versatile and give off an entirely different vibe. What do you think? Yay or nay to white denim?
