Sweater Season

Style

This year’s fall weather has been all over the place- this morning we were greeted with mid 70’s and rain and fog. Us Chicagoans know that weather here is quite unpredictable, which makes for dressing just as difficult. Let’s just say, we got preparation down to a science! I always stock up on cashmere come fall and winter- it’s the perfect addition to any outfit. Not to mention, it’s luxurious, warm and comfy. I tend to visit vintage shops for the best deals, but now and then I’ll splurge on something extra decadent.

I’ve put together my top 10 cashmere (and a few cashmere blend) sweaters for the season. They are a staple in anyone’s wardrobe, whether you wear them out to dinner or lounge around at home, like yours truly.

And how about the perfect accessories to your cashmere, you ask? Chunky boots, leather leggings and a faux-croc doctor’s bag, of course!

You now know my guilty pleasure…What wardrobe staple can you not live without during the cool temps?

definitely as you have described it is what we Chicagoans live in..I like long sweaters with a belt and leggings. Boots are a must in the winter short or long.

Thanks, always happy to be inspired.
