Spring Wishlist on a Snowy Day

Miscellaneous

Good Morning Loves!

Well, it’s another snowy day here in Chicago. We’ve gotten more snow in the last couple of weeks than we have all winter. And while it’s pretty and a bit romantic, it’s quite overdue. The Holidays were way back in December! I don’t know about you, but I am ready for spring. Period. It’s right around the corner and I feel it, it’s on its way. After this blizzard passes, of course. Until then I’ll be dreaming of warm beaches and spring fashion and a tan would be nice.

For spring I always tend to be drawn to cooler colors and neutrals, florals, and this year some animal print. Fresh, bright and a bit of pastel to the wardrobe is as promising as the first flowers and above-freezing temperatures. I want to start mixing patterns this season and take some risks with color. Now that I have found my pop-of-pink lip color with here, I’m on the hunt for a coral lipstick. I think it would add some warmth to the cool tones I’ll be wearing.

What are your spring must-haves? Are you saving pennies and eating ramen to buy something special?

    Hello Yana!
As you are longing for Spring, I cannot wait for Autumn to arrive here in Melbourne. I love the warm (but not hot) days and balmy nights to ease out of Summer…
Love the cool tones and the beautiful aqua in your Spring board!
    Cheers,
    Nancy

Hi Nancy! I do have to say, Autumn has to be my favorite season. I always leaned towards the summer months but I’ve come to appreciate the cool days, chunky sweaters and boots, harvest, and the chill in the air. It’s marvelous. Hope you enjoy it! 🙂
