Olive Green Leather

Style

I discovered a hidden gem in Chicago a few weeks back and am looking for a reason to go back. The GuestHouse Hotel is a small boutique hotel in Uptown that is chic and welcoming and you’ll probably never want to leave. I see a stay-cation in my near future!

Lately, I’ve been drawn to a-line skirts that are a bit longer than something that would normally appeal to me. Despite behaving on this year’s black Friday, I did manage to snag this leather and suede olive green skirt from Zara. I love it’s shape and the block pattern of the materials, not to mention it’s a subtle olive green.

I paired the skirt with a wool sweater from Italy that I picked up at TJ Maxx, yes! The ivory color and the woven texture plays perfectly with the skirt. For jewelry, I put on my vintage pearl earrings and an olive green, chunky bracelet to bring the colors together.

I always love pairing a black heel or boot with even the most unexpected of looks. These Prada booties are one of my favorite boots to date. I love where they hit mid-calf and that the heel is on the chunkier side. They’re both comfortable, timeless and a bit edgy. Just the way I like my fashion!

I have been wanting to stay there for the longest time. I first learned about it when I was looking for places on air bnb. I love how it is styled. Im pattering my home after it.

I’ve heard nothing but positive things about the guest rooms. If anything, it’s worth going for that fireplace and chesterfield sofas! It’s a stunning interior, you’ve got great taste!
