Mission: One Table

With our busy schedules and constant on-the-go attitude, the stress placed on sitting down around a dinner table has drastically faded. My fondest memories to this day are still the conversations I’ve had, with the people I care about, over delicious food. So I’m on a mission, you see; to bring that back.

It’s quite magical how a meal can bring people together and inspire a gathering, however large or small. There’s nothing like a home-cooked meal, elbows on the table and loud chatter that warms your soul. With cold nights and crackling fires upon us, winter is the perfect season to spend more time indoors.

With that being said, NoMad Luxuries will have a new weekly column on the blog, One Table’. Every Wednesday you can expect to find inspiration on food and gathering while focusing on the importance of taking time to dine. I’ve also teamed up with my cousin Helen to bring delicious recipes to you with a focus on seasonally inspired dishes and local produce.

We hope to inspire you to create your own memories while breaking bread together, and essentially use this as an opportunity to create a community on the blog. If you have a recipe you want to share, send us an email at nomadluxuries@gmail.com and we’ll pick one recipe a month to feature on the blog!

Happy Eating!

Hey yana love the idea! Why don’t you also host one for fellow nomad followers? Maybe we can all find some time to get together and enjoy a meal together? Maybe find a local chef that can give us some cooking ideas and then share the meal? Just a thought

Georgia- I think that’s a great idea! I definitely have some ideas in mind for growing this and seeing where it can go! Thanks for the suggestion 🙂

What a lovely idea. There is something very special and binding about eating a meal together. I look forward to the series!
