I know Scandinavian design is nothing new, designers and interior enthusiasts have been obsessed with it for quite some time. I however, recently have become more drawn to the simplistic interiors. I realized, that while I love a moody or even colorful space, I wouldn’t necessarily want to live in it. You should see my Pinterest boards, they are all over the place as far as aesthetic is concerned. So, when I come across a space like this, with it’s white floors, warm wood tones and uncluttered space, I want to move right in. This dupex is the home of two creative, photographers in Stockholm. I love the tall ceilings, open floor plan and all the natural light. Not to mention, those typical Scandinavian fireplaces with ornate details and brass doors. I need one of those in my life. The subway tile with dark grout is surprisingly a favorite element of mine in this space. It looks clean and uncluttered yet cozy and welcoming. Everything has it’s place and the minimal pieces that they do have, all have their own purpose. You can find me cozied up in that camel leather butterfly chair, next to the fire, wrapped in a sheep skin throw. Scandi style to the fullest.
