Gilded

I happen to have a good relationship with tunics. I’ve been wearing them for years and when I spotted this one, I immediately bought it. I loved the woven texture and the fact that it could be grey, green and even pull brown in different light. For summer, I would pair this with white jeans and Grecian sandals and this might as well be my summer uniform. Mediterranean vibes, I tell ya! Since my outfits tend to be more simple, I love to accessorize with gilded jewelry.

My collection of gold jewelry has grown pretty quickly the past year and I love mixing vintage pieces with new. I’ve recently added a septum cuff and I’m really digging it. I purchased it from this seller on Etsy and they have quite a selection- I ended up going with something a bit less inconspicuous. It adds just a touch of edge and global to my outfit. Last week, I wore this chain necklace and this week, I’m wearing it’s matching bracelet! I can’t get enough of the over-sized links and the hammered gold. I paired delicate pieces like the Gorjana cuff with heavier pieces like my double-strand choker. It’s all about balance and since they are in different shades of gold, they all compliment each other!

Woven Tunic from T.J. Maxx (loving this one) | Dark Skinny Jeans (great deal!) | Double Snake Collar (vintage)| Multi-Strand Ring from Fox’s (want this one and this one!) | Gold Chain Bracelet (vintage Givenchy) | Gorjana Gold Cuff | Gold Septum Cuff

Tell me, do you add intrigue with accessories or do you let the clothes do most of the talking?
