Friday Fright: Inspiration

Miscellaneous

Since it’s already October, I thought it would be fun to dedicate Friday’s to something a bit more… spooky. So for the next couple of weeks, expect to get your weekly dose of “Friday Fright” on here.

I’m planning my first ever, Halloween Fête. Nothing too crazy, a small and intimate get together for eight closest friends. I’m still wrapping up the details, but so far it looks like a fun-filled night. Take a peek at my invites from Paperless Post.

I had in mind something classy for adults, but with a touch of grim. I thought this invite was perfect with the skull background and the cute black velvet bow. I’m a bit obsessed with Paperless Post. They are such a great resource for online invites. I would like to start sending out physical invites, but until then this is the next best thing.

Now for some spooky inspiration…

How glamorous is that? It oozes an old Victorian opulance with candelabras, moss and crystal. It’s brilliant. I saw this and I knew I wanted to translate this look and feel to work for a smaller party.

Let’s toss in a few more inspiring photos, shall we?
